Game Tester Jr

This is a full-time remote role for a Game Tester Jr at MoonLabs Studios. The Game Tester Jr will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough testing to identify bugs, glitches, and other issues that may affect gameplay, functionality, or user experience.
  • Accurately documenting and reporting bugs, errors, and abnormalities encountered during testing using bug tracking software or other designated tools.
  • Ensuring that games meet quality standards and specifications through meticulous testing and analysis of game features, mechanics, and performance.
  • Developing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts to validate game functionality across different platforms and devices.
  • Performing regression testing to verify that previously identified bugs and issues have been resolved in subsequent game builds or updates.
  • Providing constructive feedback and collaborating with developers, designers, and other team members to communicate testing results, suggest improvements, and contribute to overall game quality.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of testing processes, test results, and findings for reference and future testing cycles.


  • Familiarity with PC and mobile gaming platforms, operating systems, and software tools used in game testing (bug tracking software, test case management tools, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate testing results, report bugs, and collaborate with team members.
  • Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment, interacting with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to contribute to overall game quality.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic game development environment.
  • Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of various game genres

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with game development engines such as Unity or Unreal.
  • Understand and have played Devikins' game.
